A week in Berry: Part ii

So I'm pretty sure I had just showered/changed/woken up recently, sat myself down at the computer to edit and or surf the net when all of a sudden the weather turned freaaaking magical. I have never in my life seen sun rays this clear and magnificent. Sun + fog = perfection. I quickly jumped out of my chair, changed into something semi photographic, still wearing protective gear from those hideous leeches I knew were hiding in the damp, morning grass. I grabbed my camera, a jacket because I knew I was going to freeze my butt off and my phone to play some music.

I opened the door, stepped outside and I don't exaggerate when I tell you all the warmth I had in my body disappeared. I haven't been that cold since December last year, when I was in Boston & New York. Madeline and Christian were inside watching a movie and Mum & Dad were chilling in the kitchen. God knows what I looked like running around like a weirdo taking pictures. Everyone's used to it, so it's okay. Alright, enough explanation - enjoy!! :)

Christian was filming a time lapse, which I've actually included at the bottom of this post.

The poolhouse was in fine form.

This is completely SOOC, just to give you an idea of how beautiful the property looked!

Self portrait time. I had no idea what I was doing - here's me totally winging it.

Final shot:

These two finally decided to join me.

And just like that - a blue sky :)

We made a pit stop to show Madeline the cemetery and blow hole before driving all the way back home.

Christian's time lapse from our entire time at my Aunty's property :)

Stay tuned for more posts coming soon :)

  1. I love the light! We do also have mornings like this here in Germany, and I love watching the first sun rays shine through the trees. But I do never have the possibility to take photos, because I'm always on my way to school, when the mornings are that beautiful.

Beautiful pictures! You are so inspiring!
