Early morning shoot with Kiara

Kiara and I have been talking about shooting together again for a while now. We have such busy lives with school and university that it restricts us from going on shoots together, which is a bit of a shame. We had finally decided on a day - Wednesday. I set my alarm for 7:30, knowing she'd be at my door at 9am. Well, let's just say that I was a little tired because I decided to fall back asleep and wake up again...this time at 8:44. I have never jumped out of bed that quickly in my life. I reached for my phone, texting her frantically, asking if she could maybe arrive at 9:15. Turns out she was 20 minutes away and I had 20 minutes to get ready, look respectable, collect my camera stuff and pack my bag. She was at my door at 9am, as promised but I had to collect a few more things before we could leave.

Leaving Christian behind in bed, we were out the door and on our way to the park. It was a cloudy/semi-foggy morning - a perfect day for photographs it seemed. We had a lovely chat, catching each other up on our lives. Dodging the traffic, we made our way to the park - which was nice and quiet, only with two other people working on some construction. We walked past the familiar locations and made our way to a new location - at least for me. Kiara took me to this wonderful field but boy was it a hike. We were out of breath by the time we reached the top of the hill. Totally worth it! I'll leave you now to the photographs, as I have already written too much.

Our props + clothes + necessities.

Kiara used a smoke bomb and gave this tree a little bit of colour.

And her fingers some colour too.

The field was filled with butterflies.

Kiara will be posting a blog post soon.
